PB470 RAM Upgrade

Warning Only authorized service personnel should upgrade the system. Anyone who wants to upgrade the system herself/himself should know about the dangers of ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) and the necessary precautions. Unknowingly zapping the components of the computer will void the warranty.

1. SIMM speed must be 70ns or faster.
2. This system has four SIMM sockets which are labelled SIMM1, SIMM2, SIMM3 and SIMM4.
3. The SIMM's are 72-pin and can be x32 or x36. The motherboard design does not require parity checking, hence x32 SIMMs can be purchased (they are cheaper).

Note

This table takes 256k Shadow Ram into consideration when providing the total for Extended Memory.
Example: 3200k = 4096k - (640k + 256k)
