Set Linear Frame Buffer

1/2/4 MB
Disabled.
For use with ISA Video cards that use a linear frame buffer. This speeds up video performance, since the image data is retrieved directly from the buffer.

NOTE:

(The memory allocated by this option is always taken from system memory starting at 16 MB downward. The amount taken s double the amount selected. For example, if 2 MB is selected, the memory from 16 MB down to 12 MB (a total of 4 MB) will be allocated. On a system with 16 MB of memory, the memory from 16 MB down to 12 MB will be used for the linear frame buffer, but a system with less then 12 MB will not lose any memory.)
