800/805 Setup - Main

The Setup Utility is six major menus - Main, Advanced, Security, Power, Boot and Exit. This section covers all of these menus and their sub-menus, including definition and usage of the features. In addition, full screens are provided for illustration.

To access the CMOS Setup utility, press <F2> during POST.

These illustrations are approximations of the actual screens.

Menu Item Options Description
Processor Type Informational Informs the user what type of processor is installed in the system.
Processor Speed Informational Informs the user what speed the processor is configured to run at.
Cache Ram Informational Informs the user of how much cache the system is configured for.
Total Memory Informational Informs the user how much RAM is contained and recognized on the motherboard.
BIOS Version Informational Informs the user what BIOS version the system is running.
Language   Allows the user to select what language the system will display
System Time   Allows the user to set the system time
System Date   Allows the user to set the system date
Floppy Options See Sub-menu Accesses the Floppy Options Sub-menu.
