930/950 Motherboard CPU Upgrade

Caution Only authorized service personnel should upgrade the system. Anyone who wants to upgrade the system herself/himself should know about the dangers of ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) and the necessary precautions. Unknowingly zapping the components of the computer will void the warranty.

This motherboard has provisions to support Intel(r) Pentium(tm), Cyrix(r) and AMD(r) processors. The processor speeds are selectable with variable six jumper sets, three jumpers set to select the bus-to-core frequency ratio, and the other to select the CPU bus speed (60, 66, 75, 83, 95, 100 MHz). The bus-to-core ratio is either 2/11, 1/5, 2/9, 1/4, 2/7, 1/3, 2/5, 1/2 or 2/3 yielding the bus/core frequency.

One Onboard DC/DC converter supply 2.2V, 2.8V, 2.9V and 3.2V to the CPU. Four 2-pin connectors select the CPU core voltage. The voltage that must be selected depends on the CPU that is being used.

Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) socket
Uses the 321-pin Type 7 CPU Socket
Not keyboard switchable.
